About this blog
Memoir in poems
I used to remember and that was all. I have come to remember and now it hurts. I remember and I have some perspective on what it is that happened as I grew up. I interpret what I remember. I give it meaning, the meaning that I can, today. Might give it a different meaning tomorrow. I make connections between these memories and it's healing.
Morning myths
My friend Sam and I wrote poems for around 140 days during the first year of the pandemic. Each morning we'd sending each other voice messages of readings of poems by different authors and off of those we'd take 5 minutes to write our own poems. Some of the poems I wrote during that time will go here.
Pomes
My friend Andrew and I have attempted, two Aprils in a row, to write one pome per day off of prompts we'd send each other. We didn't make it to month's end. We were all over the place.
University
I'm studying an undergrad at Open University in English Literature and Creative Writing. Will be posting some texts off creative writing prompts.
Myriad ways
A story that I don't know yet how to talk about, except through the poems I've written so far.
Random
What it says on the tin, random poems.
School of Myth
In 2018 I did the School of Myth course with Martin Shaw plus a wilderness vigil. Here are poems during and after that time.
